Lauren Barnecut

Lauren Barnecut is a graduate from San Diego State University, where she majored in Liberal Studies to become an elementary school teacher with a specialization in Visual and Performing Arts.  She has been dancing since the age of three, trained with Kristi Davar for almost a decade, and assisted Miss Kristi in teaching classes and choreography for years. 

She was accepted to the Joffrey Ballet Company, as well as the Pennsylvania Rock School of Ballet.  She has performed various lead roles in the Nutcracker including Clara, Merliton soloist, Snow Queen, Arabian soloist, and the Dew Drop Fairy.  Lauren’s love for dance and strong devotion to Kristi are what brought her back to Center Stage after college.  She is thrilled to have the opportunity now to teach again in both a classroom and a dance studio setting.
