Margie Chambers
Margie started taking dance classes and performing at the age of seven. Tap become her first focus but then jazz and ballet were added to her training.
Margie holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Brockport in Biology and Physical Education. As a graduate assistant at Brockport, Margie received her Masters Degree in Dance and Adaptive Physical Education. She studied under Garth Fagan while receiving her Masters.
With her initial education completed, Margie has spent the next thirty six years teaching dance in the public school system and private studios in six different states. The most current was the dance director at Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville, IL from 1997-2007. In addition to the classroom Margie was the director of twp dance groups and the choreographer for three high school musicals. They were Bye Bye Birdie, Anything Goes and Oklahoma.
Margie continues taking dance classes at Center Stage Dance and Performing Arts.
