Jacqueline Ward began her dancing career at the age of 6 in Orange County, California. Her training began in the style of jazz under the direction of Kristi Davar. Throughout her younger years she began to train in a variety of styles including lyrical, contemporary, tap, ballet, modern, and hip hop. In 2015, Jacqueline was recognized as a Top 10 OC Artist of the Year by the Orange County Register. She was employed by Legoland California as a dancer and a character princess for 3 seasons. In an effort to pursue a professional dance career, Jacqueline applied and was accepted into Chapman University’s renowned dance program. She recently graduated and was a dedicated student pursuing two degrees: Dance and Business Administration. During her Chapman career, Jacqueline had studied under the direction of Alicia Guy, Jennifer Backhaus, Will Johnston, Zachary Groenewold, and Larry Rosenberg. Jacqueline has been apart of multiple shows at Chapman University including Chapman Dance Alliance, Fall Dance Concert, and Technology for Live Performance. Thanks to Alicia Guy’s relationship with Cirque Du Soleil, the Technology for Live Performance class got the opportunity to perform on the Zumanity stage in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jacqueline’s choreographic collaboration with her classmates was the first performance on that stage other than a Cirque performance. In the Summer of 2018, Jacqueline was accepted to be apart of an international dance travel course that allowed students to train with cast members from Norwegian Cruise Line while also experiencing the culture of each country they visited. This past Fall, she performed in “Flock,” a modern piece choreographed by Alicia Guy. In January, Jacqueline was in a Dance touring ensemble that performed at various high schools in Southern California. Most recently, she was selected as a 2019-2020 Los Angeles Rams Cheerleader for the upcoming season. Her most recent performance was with New Kids On The Block at the Hollywood Bowl. Jacqueline recently signed with Movement Talent Agency and is excited to pursue a commercial dance career.
