Kelley began studying dance in elementary school. Throughout high school, she participated in dance production as a lead dancer and choreographer in musicals such as “Annie,” “Grease,” and the “Wiz.” She was also a member of her high school's songleading squad and served as head songleader her senior year. At the end of her senior year, Kelley was honored with a special award for her contribution to the pep squad and the dance production program. In college, Kelley was a member of Buddy Schwimmer's Dance Team. She also studied jazz, modern, ballet and tap and performed in several productions at Orange Coast College, Grossmont College, and San Diego State University where she earned a B.A. degree in Psychology. Throughout high school and college, Kelley trained at numerous private studios throughout Orange County and the San Diego area. Kelley has enjoyed teaching at Center Stage over the past seven years as well as co-coaching our beginning/intermediate level competition jazz teams for the past four years with Kristi Davar. Together their teams have earned numerous awards for choreography, performance, precision, etc. She will always cherish her memories teaching, coaching and dancing especially since she's been able to share that experience with her daughters.
