Lauren Mangiapane

Lauren Mangiapane Lauren began dancing at the age of three under Maria Lazar at Classical Ballet Academy where she danced in numerous recitals including Paquita, Peter and the Wolf, Cinderella and Alice and Wonderland. She started dancing on pointe when she was nine and furthered her ballet training with Dmitri Kulev at Dmitri Kulev Classical Ballet Academy. Lauren danced the lead as Clara in the Nutcracker and has received awards and recognitions for her solo ballet performances at such competitions as Kids Artistic Review and Youth America Grand Prix. She has been accepted to ABT, Kirov, and Bolshoi summer intensive programs and attended the Alvin Ailey summer intensive dance program in New York City. With an emphasis on ballet, she has also trained in Jazz, lyrical, modern, character, and tap. She has taught ballet at Saddleback College and V&T dance. She choreographed and played as a double in the short film, “Ballet of Arabia.” Lauren studied dance at Saddleback College and was awarded “Rookie of the Year.” She was also given the Angels of the Arts Scholarship and choreographed for Saddleback’s Spring Dance Concerts. She recently received her Yoga Alliance Instructor Certification. Lauren was accepted into Cal State Fullerton where she will earn her B.A. in dance.
