Ali Nourbakhsh

Ali Nourbakhsh also known as Hip Hop Artist Apoetnomadali aka POET has taught in every major dance studio in the Orange County area. His residency for the past 7 years was at The Zone Dance and Performing Arts Center in Santa Margarita, where he was the premier hip hop instructor. His responsibilities included not only teaching 9 classes a week, but handling competition teams as well. He has served as a substitute, and/or guest teacher for master classes at various other studios.

Ali has a longstanding relationship with teaching children which goes far beyond his employment as a Hip Hop instructor. His family business is a DJ and Limousine business that caters to birthday parties, school dances, and proms. He also teaches Spanish to kids at an elementary school level. He began teaching dance after his university education from Loyola Marymount, where he was a double major in English, Spanish, and a minor in dance.

His uncanny ability to connect with kids and simplify choreography has earned him a deep love from his students and respect from their parents. He is excited to embark on this new journey and have a great time teaching the art form he grew up with.
