Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from the University of California in Irvine where he studied acting, dance, and theatrical design. After getting his start in Mission Viejo High School he has become the veteran of the veteran of the stage. Over the past 24 years, he has performed such roles as Captain Von Trapp in Sound of Music, Emile De Becque in South Pacific, Governor/Inn Keeper in Man of La Mancha, Haji the poet in Kismet, Joe/Josephine in Sugar (a musical version of Some Like it Hot) and Mr. Antrobus in By the Skin of Our Teeth. Other notable shows would be Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Pippin, Guys & Dolls, The Music Man, and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
As a vocalist, Chris studied privatley with Christen Cornell and the late Dr. Maurice Allard. As a mentor, Dr. Allard completely changed Chris' concepts and understanding of the human voice. Chris has modeled his vocal style and teaching using the techniques taught by Dr. Allard. Having taught voice over the past five years, Chris helping his grow and build an understanding how and why we sing. Chris is currently a Soloist/Cantor for St. Killian Catholic Church and is a member of the Entertainers.
