Jackie has been performing
on stage since the age of seven and started dancing about
the same time. She has a background in jazz, tap, ballet,
lyrical, and hip hop.
Jackie
received two Bright Spot’s at the M.A.C.Y. (Music
and Arts Commendation for the Youth) Awards in 2000 and
2002 for her roles in “SWEET CHARITY” and
“KISS ME KATE” at Mission Viejo High School.
She
has been involved in musical theatre for 13 years. She
has played the roles of Anytime Annie in “42ND StEET”,
Beatrice in “BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE INTEXAS”,
and Cha-Cha DeGregorio in “GREASE”. Jackie
has also performed in “GUYS AND DOLLS”, “YOU’RE
A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN”, “CINDERELLA”,
“JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAM COAT”,
and many more.
Jackie has a love for performing
and a dream of someday dancing on Broadway. Currently
she teaches dance, Pilates, yoga, and other fitness classes
and hopes to receive her personal training certification
in the near future. She received her AA in May 2004 and
plans on graduating from CSUF in May 2006 with Child and
Adolescent Development as her major.
Jackie
would like to thank Kristi Davar for all her support and
guidance in helping her become the dancer she is today.
Jackie thinks that there is no better way she could display
that gratitude than to honor Kristi by working beside
her in teaching the art of dance and performing.
