Lauren Anderson- Dance Team Director
Lauren has lived and danced in Southern Orange County her entire life. Since the age of three, she has grown up in studios training in many styles of dance including ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, and hip-hop. She competed and choreographed for Aliso Niguel High School’s Varsity Dance Team where she went on to win numerous National titles and her choreography won “National Judge’s Choreography” award.
Lauren also represented Aliso Niguel as a Soloist, where she ranked first place in two different national titles: American Grand Championships and American All-Star National Championships. Lauren was a member of the U.S. Spiritleaders Dance Staff for two years as an instructor for their intensive summer dance camps . She was the Head Song Coach and Choreographer for Capistrano Valley High School, and Dana Hills High School and has assisted other school programs with choreography and/or master classes including Aliso Niguel Song, El Toro Song, and Mission Viejo Song High Schools.
Lauren has been a Technique Instructor and Choreographer for Aftershock All-Stars, Touche All-Stars, and Temecula Valley Dance Team and has also been an instructor at Pacific School of Ballet. She was a Choreographer for Mater Dei High School Song as well as their Technique Instructor, helping lead them to a National Dance Alliance “2009 Nationals Technique Excellence Award.“
Lauren spent 5 years as a Coach, Choreographer, and Instructor for the South Coast Freestyle All-Star Dance Program, leading her teams to win many championships. She has won multiple awards for her Choreography, and many National Titles as a Coach. Through all her work, Lauren has worked hard at maintaining her dance education, taking classes at different studios all over Southern California and competing for three years for the nationally ranked SCF PRO-Team. Lauren is currently the Head Cheer and Song Coach of Corona Del Mar High School, and JSerra High School. She loves sharing her passion for dance with her students and feels it’s an honor and a privilege to be able to teach children.
