Studio Policies

A. Tuition is due on the first of the month and late fees apply after the 10th day of the month. A $15.00 late fee will be charged on all late payments. No exceptions. Tuition is based on four lessons per month. The fifth week is a bonus and is used to offset any missed classes due to holidays throughout the year or when the studio is closed. We have changed our policy this year, and there will be no pro-rating of our monthly tuition. B. There will be a $25.00 service fee for all returned checks due to insufficient funds and closed accounts. C. CSDPA accepts cash, check, Debit, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards. D. There are no refunds or adjustments made for missed classes. Tuition is based on enrollment, not attendance. Students missing class will be allowed to make-up their missed class. If so, they have two months to make up their class by attending another class at the same level as a make-up. E. Annual registration fee is $30.00 due in September or at the time of first registration. F. Class sizes are limited to 15-20 students, However, based on instructor preference the class size may vary. If a class has reached maximum capacity a waiting list may be started. It is the parent and /or the student’s responsibility to notify the studio if they wish to drop out of their classes, so that students on the waiting list can be added. G. Please notify our office of any class schedule changes, or new contact (email, phone and/or address) as well as changes in emergency contact information. It is the parent's responsibility to inform us if they are not receiving updates that are sent out via email. Unfortunately less than 50% of our students/parents on our email list are actually opening our emails. Please make sure you come in to check our bulletin board as this information is also posted inside the studio. H. We reserve the right to have substitute instructors if deemed necessary. I. Each year CSDPA presents a Spring Dance Concert which enables all our students the opportunity to showcase their dance skills and routines. This event is held in a professional theater and requires students to purchase a costume(s) for each class in which they are enrolled. The dates for our 7th Annual Spring Dance Concert are June 28th through July 1st. 2012 (save these dates). As in the past, CSDPA charges a fee for participation in our Spring Dance Concert for each student. More information will be provided in early 2012. Tickets will be sold in advance on a first come first serve basis. J. If your child is going to miss classes due to illness, school events, vacation, financial problems, change in schedule or any other factors interfering with their attendance, please notify us, ASAP. K. Only water is allowed into the studio during class time. No gum chewing or food is allowed in the studios. L. It is the responsibility of parents to pick-up their child immediately following their classes. We advise parents of younger dancers (3-6) to stay at the studio while their child is in class. Parents must supervise younger siblings while in the viewing area. Absolutely no loud or disruptive behavior will be tolerated. Younger siblings must stay in the viewing areas with their parents where they can be supervised while their older sibling is in class. Absolutely no playing in the parking lot. M. Students, who are late on a regular basis, may be switched to another class that better suites their schedule. It is very disruptive to the entire class. We understand that occasionally this may occur, but please make every effort to be on time for class. N. To all our students, please respect the use of our homework room, the microwave and sink area, and please clean up after yourselves. Homework room is reserved for homework ONLY. O. Please respect our neighbors and refrain from parking in their assigned parking spaces.

Please notify the office of any class schedule changes, new phone numbers or addresses, or change in emergency contact information. It is the parent's responsibility to come inside the studio lobby and check the bulletin board on a weekly basis for any current memos or information.
