Center Stage Dance and Performing Arts

Why Center Stage Dance?

One - The Owner

Kristi Davar is eminently qualified to not only teach but administer a dance facility. Not only has Kristi been an Instructor for many years, she a former professional Dancer. Having danced in productions literally in all corners of the Globe from Europe, Las Vegas to Japan Kristi has opened and performed with and for some of the most celebrated names in Show Business. More importantly, she understands how to reach her students. With patience, caring and a passion for dance, Kristi pulls the best out of her students and their abilities.

Two – The Instructors

Like Kristi, these instructors are professionals and have the passion for their art and craft that permeates not only their lives, but the way they impart their instruction. Some of them are former students of Kristi’s. They are all technicians and proficient at their respective dance/art disciplines. They care about the successes and pains of their students. They are empathic counselors, instructors, friends and fellow dancers.

Three – The Philosophy

The focus of Center Stage Dance and Performing Arts is that in and of itself Dance is an art form and means of expression, but clearly part of something larger…The Performing Arts. Dance is certainly technique and talent. But it is also a performance that includes acting, music, stage and many other elements that all converge in the expression and art form we know as Dance. So, although here at Center Stage Dance and Performing Arts we pay attention to the craft that is Dance, we also encourage our students to embrace the broader part that dance plays in the performing Arts.
